Series record: Greenville leads 33-21-1. The Red Raiders’ 21-19 victory last season was their ninth consecutive win in the series and their 25th in the last 27 meetings.
Last weekend: Greenville lost at T.L. Hanna 48-27; J.L. Mann won at Mauldin 35-0

What’s at stake: J.L. Mann will try to stay in first place in the region and snap its losing streak in this Spirit Week rivalry, which will feature check amounts of how much each school raised for local charities during halftime. Last season, the schools combined to raise $728,000.
Woodmont (2-6, 1-4) at Easley (1-7, 0-5)
Series record: Easley leads 10-4, but Woodmont won last year’s meeting 28-14.
Last week: Woodmont lost at Hillcrest 56-17; Easley lost at Greenwood 38-0

No. 6 Spartanburg (6-1, 4-0) at Riverside (4-3, 1-3)
Series record: Spartanburg leads 11-0, including a 49-6 win last year at Riverside.
Last week: Spartanburg defeated Byrnes 58-14; Boiling Springs beat Riverside 41-6.

What’s at stake: Spartanburg could clinch at least a share of the Region II-5A championship with a win. That would also give the Vikings a chance at the title all to themselves next week in a showdown against rival Gaffney.
No. 7 Gaffney (6-1, 3-1) at Wade Hampton (0-7, 0-4)
Series record: Gaffney leads 15-4, including a 42-13 victory when the teams last met in 2013. The Indians have lost only two games in Greenville County since 1977, but Wade Hampton has one of those. The Generals stunned Gaffney, 17-10, in 2012.
Last week: Gaffney lost to Dorman 9-7; Wade Hampton lost to Eastside 34-0.

Series record: Tied 1-1. Fountain Inn won last year’s meeting at Southside, 26-16.
Last week: Fountain Inn lost to Emerald 37-34 in double overtime; Southside lost to Wren 63-0

What’s at stake: A Fountain Inn victory would ensure the third-year program would not have a losing regular season record for the first time. It would also allow the chance at a winning record against Laurens in next week’s regular season finale. Southside will try to snap a 19-game losing streak as the Tigers’ last win came at Fountain Inn in the final week of the 2022 regular season.
REGION II-4A
Greer (5-3, 4-0) at No. 2 Daniel (7-1, 4-0)
Series record: Daniel leads 16-11, including a 48-20 victory in last year’s season opener.
Last weekend: Greer was off; Daniel defeated Blue Ridge 63-14

What’s at stake: While both teams will still have business to tend to next week, this could be a region championship game. Greer hosts Travelers Rest to wrap up the regular season next week, while Daniel will play at Seneca. Seneca, which has a bye this week, is in third place in the region at 4-1.
Blue Ridge (3-5, 1-4) at Berea (3-5, 1-3)
Series record: Blue Ridge leads 8-6. Berea won the last meeting 35-32 in 2021, which snapped its eight-game losing streak in the series.
Last weekend: Blue Ridge lost at Daniel 63-14; Berea defeated Travelers Rest 24-21

Last week: Christ Church defeated Southside Christian 11-7; Palmetto lost at St. Joseph’s 35-14
