TL Hanna (4-1, 2-0) at Hillcrest (3-2, 1-1)
The winner of this matchup has won the region championship each of the past five seasons with four of those captured by TL Hanna. Hillcrest will try to rebound from a 24-20 loss at Greenwood last Friday. A Rams offense that had been running wild this season was held to 59 yards on the ground. Hillcrest trailed 24-7 in the third quarter before Jackson Free threw two of his three touchdowns. It couldn’t get closer as the teams battled through a scoreless fourth quarter. Free finished with 260 yards on 18-of-31 passing with two interceptions. Luke McCourry was the top receiver with five catches for 141 yards.

Backup quarterback Peyton Myers completed 10-of-16 passes for 98 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the second half. The second of those scores came with 1:50 left in regulation to tie it and the Mavs blocked a 40-yard field goal as time expired to force overtime.
